Offering a drop by coffee brew tasting experience for you, or for the folx in your life particularly obsessed with coffee and want to learn/taste more! Swing by and experience the same coffee brewed three different ways: Turkish, Syphon, and Pour Over! We will have 3 different stations set up throughout our shop for you to watch the brewing process, chat with the brewing expert, and sample coffees from these particularly interesting and traditional methods. We will be set up and brewing from 11am-1pm, so swing by at your leisure, try some coffee, stay for a little or stay for a while, and enjoy! Tickets may be purchased here in advance or in our store the day of! We are excited to chill, taste, chat, and learn!

Featured coffee will be our Colombia - washed from Paisa Coffee

Turkish Coffee Expert (Alex): This brew method has roots tying back to Northeast Africa and ancient Persia. Meant to be sipped slowly over lively discussion, this coffee comes as a small but robust cup. Barista, Alex, has been in love with Turkish coffee since college and experiencing it abroad and can’t wait to show you what it’s all about.

Syphon Coffee Expert (Andrea): Guiding you through a visually dramatic brew method using two chambers and heat to create vacuum pressure which steeps the coffee and pulls it through a filter. Expect a full-bodied and velvety cup of coffee. Andrea is the owner of Elementary Coffee Co. and has a flair for the scientific look and feel of the Syphon brewer.

Pour Over (V60) Expert (David): Guiding you through a favorite brew method for a reason: pour overs, but particularly the Hario V60, allow for control over water flow creating a clean flavorful cup of coffee. David is a coffee enthusiast and excels at researching and developing the perfect pour to allow any coffee placed in a V60 to reveal its fullest potential.
