A natural and dry fermented coffee that holds up to all your memories of what complex flavors a traditional Ethiopia bean can hold. In recent years, we, as roasters, have been searching for the coffee of our dreams. I remember the first time I (Andrea) got to try an Ethiopia natural process coffee for the first time that almost tasted like blueberry pie! Since that first taste over 10 years ago, Ethiopia has struggled with huge impacts on their coffee cultivation based on climate change, deforestation, armed conflicts, inflation and more. Uniquely similar to many places in the world that are struggling with almost too many variables to get a handle on, we feel lucky to have two bags of this old world heirloom variety coffee to roast, and enjoy, and to dream of the possibility of better days to come.
