If you’re a fan of collectives AND coffee, this one’s for you! The Arisarina Cooperative in the Gayo Aceh province in Sumatra is a producer cooperative established in 2013. Their common goal is to, 1) improve the quality of coffee in the Gayo highlands, and 2) maintain and preserve their unique ecosystem. These high quality beans are farmed entirely by local farmers using the shade tree method, planted side-by-side with the coffee trees, putting their conservation principles to practice.

All of the chocolate-y sweetness in this coffee is great as a french press at home!
